wayne's misdeeds in high school.

on this sunny saturday morning, we were watching t.v. and wayne started telling me a few of his antics in high school. i grabbed a paper and pen and started writing them down. to his protest of course. it is amazing that he graduated and wasn't expelled. so in no particular order......

1) flipped the principals car over. he got a weeks suspension. he didn't tell his parents.
2) filled condoms up with water and drop them down the stairwell.
3) signed his mother's signature on all absent cards.
4) was dared to throw a chair to knock things of the teachers desk. he missed and hit the teacher. he had to take summer school for that class and got the same teacher.
5) put crazy glue on chairs
6) took shoes out of the gym lockers, tied the laces in knots and threw them into shower.
7) put a booger into his history teachers coffee, everyone laughed when he would take drinks from it. (gross)
8) remove all the toilet paper from the bathrooms
9) only went to school on tuesdays and thrusdays during his senior year. (and still graduated)
10) took a bag of dog poo, and put it into a teachers desk drawer where it remained for 3 days. (again, gross)
11) blow up toilets with m-80's
12) gym teacher told class if u pee in the pool a red ring would apppear. wayne says that's not true
13) fart in class, and blame it on kid next to him. (he still does that)
14) shoot paper wads at the back of teachers head
15) start food fights in cafeteria, walk out and watch from hallway
16) pull fire alarm to get out of taking a test
17) throw chewed gum into girls hair
18) would change the bus number on sub buses and watch everyone get on the wrong bus

how we met.

I've always loved a good love story. An Affair to Remember was my favorite. made sure i had a box of tissues ready for the ending. I've always hoped that I would have a relationship that was like a love story. It took awhile , but, I finally got it. So here's how it started.......

it was september of 2006, and me and Amber were off to her school for back to school night. I know not very exciting, but it gets better. Amber had a friend, Ashley, who was in just about every class together. Ashley's dad came that night with her. we all walked the halls together, sat close by. I even had to loan him a pencil. The girls took off on us. They weren't supposed to be there in the first place. We thought about leaving them there and going for a drink. but me being the sensable one, said no we gotta get the kids. We didn't go out that night, we went our seperate ways. and for me that was the end of that. later I was told that he liked me. Ashley told Amber that he thought I was perty. { no that's not a typo} 6 months after we met at school we finaly had our first date. It went well, very well. We both made it clear that we weren't looking for anything major. we had both been hurt alot in the past. 2 days later I moved away to Wilkes-Barre. 2 months later, he came up to live with us. He traveled 126 miles from house to work and 126 back every day. so much for nothing major. but by then we were both in love and didn't want a weekend romance. after his car's transmition said, no more, he looked for a job. There are no jobs up there at all. so after a week, he came back to bucks county. Most his coworkers said, she wont come back down here. you will never see her again. What they didn't know was the next day I called my mom and said i wanted to come back. I didn't want a weekend romance. So I came back here to be with him. Then the same coworkers said, she will never marry you. this is a faze. she will dump you. Well it took some time but we did get married. not to prove all the doubters wrong. But because we both knew that we were meant to be together. I look back on all the struggles we have had with a smile, because they have made our life and love strong.

So theres a brief history of our dating and now marriage. we are all happy and very much in love. two people who finally found their soulmates. and so the adventures in the Efaw home begin...

hi friends and family

hello friends and family.

i've heard about blogging. didn't know how to do one. my sister {affectionatly known as seester} has several blogs. i've read them and enjoyed them. thought about having one myself, but didn't get around to it. I was recently at my dads home and he shared how he now blogs. now I have to have a blog. I mean if dad has one, I should get with the times and have one as well, right. so I am putting my attempts into it. Bare with me. as with anything, it takes practice. My title, adventures in the Efaw home, sounded fitting, cuz well, frankly, it is. we do alot of laughing here. usually it is Wayne, the king of the castle, makes us laugh. Some of what I post may be at his expense. sorry honey, love ya. hopefully you all will enjoy my ramblings.
